FAQ

I'd like to start a club, but don't know what to do. Can you help?

Yes we can! Please contact us and we will help you with the process, from deciding on what kind of club you'd like to run to finding volunteers, space and funding.

Do I need to be tech-savvy to volunteer?

Not at all! In fact, you would be a great model for our students that are learning technology for the first time. It's often the case that mentors with NO previous technical experience make the BEST mentors because they can show how learning, and failure, and keeping an open mind is all part of the process. Instead of looking to experts to solve their problems, we are trying to teach the children that they can learn how to solve the problems themselves.

If you are still nervous, we can help find volunteers to get you up and running and help when you get stuck.

I have an elementary-aged child. Are there any clubs available?

As of right now, there are no regular clubs at any of the elementary schools, but we are hoping to have them soon. If you would like to help start one at school or at home, please contact us and we will help you get set up!
